When to see a psychologist
You do not have to wait until things feel overwhelming to seek support. Many people see a psychologist when they are struggling with stress, anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, life transitions, burnout, trauma, emotional regulation, or simply feeling “stuck” and wanting greater clarity and direction in life.
At Pure Heart Psych, I support adolescents and adults (13+) in navigating life’s challenges and working towards healthier, more meaningful, and fulfilling lives. I believe that each person has their own story, strengths, and experiences, and I take a personalised approach to therapy that is tailored to your individual needs, goals, and circumstances.
Using a range of evidence-based approaches, I draw from therapeutic modalities including:
• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
• Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)
• Psychodynamic psychotherapy
Together, we will explore the emotional, psychological, physical, and social aspects of your experiences to build self-understanding, resilience, and lasting change. Therapy provides a safe and supportive space to reflect, heal, and reconnect with what matters most to you.
